What store data Opvelo accesses, how it's protected and kept separate from other stores, and how to exercise your rights.
What Opvelo accesses
When you connect your Shopify store, Opvelo accesses the store data needed for the operations you enable, such as your product catalog, orders, and customer and shipping details. Where you connect them, it also accesses marketplace, carrier, invoicing and bank data.
Your store data is used only to provide Opvelo services to you. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for any other purpose.
How it’s protected
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Multi-tenant isolation: your data is never accessible to other merchants using Opvelo
Your AI agents
If you connect Claude or another MCP agent, it only sees tools from the modules you’ve enabled, and tools that change data are guarded. See Connecting Claude or another MCP agent.
Content you create
Content Opvelo generates for your store belongs to you. Because it’s AI-generated it can contain errors, so it’s reviewed by you before it’s published. Most operations are built around your approval.
