The problem
Bank statements get ticked off by hand
At month-end someone exports each bank account, then searches for every line: which invoice did this customer pay, which supplier is behind this card payment, is this transfer the courier's payout or a refund. Lines without a document pile up for the accountant, and a missing payment is noticed weeks after it should have arrived.

How it solves it
How Bank Reconciliation works

Transactions read in
Transactions arrive from every account and currency through bank feeds such as Open Banking, Fintable and Viva, so there are no statement exports to download and upload.

Matched to documents
Each payment in or out is matched to a sales invoice, supplier invoice, payout or tax using amount, date, reference, counterparty name and IBAN. Exact matches confirm; uncertain ones are proposed for one-click confirmation.

Rules for the rest
Money with no document, like taxes, meal vouchers or subscriptions, is classified by rules you write once or by a supplier's default category. A new rule also applies to past transactions.

It learns from you
When you match a card payment by hand, the merchant name on the statement is saved as that supplier's alias, so the next one matches on its own. Whatever stays unmatched is flagged, never quietly adjusted.
