Supplier portal basics

How suppliers see your purchase orders, propose quantities, prices and dates, and upload their documents.

The supplier portal is part of Buy the Right Stock. It replaces email threads with suppliers with one page per purchase order.

What your supplier sees

Each supplier gets a link to their orders.

On each purchase order, the supplier can:

  • Propose quantities, prices and delivery dates
  • Upload proformas, AWBs and packing lists
  • Chat with your team on the order itself, instead of by email

What you do

You confirm. A supplier’s proposal doesn’t change your order until you accept it. Every answer shows up on your purchase order right away, so your team always sees the latest state.

Where purchase orders come from

Purchase orders can be drafted from the demand plan, which brings together sales, stock, back-in-stock requests and wishlists. You review the draft and send it to the supplier. Confirmed dates and quantities are then tracked line by line.

When the goods arrive

Deliveries are checked against the order and the invoice. Supplier invoices arriving from national e-invoicing or email are read for you, and costs are carried into every margin. When stock arrives, customers who asked to be notified are emailed automatically.

Getting started

Tell us which suppliers you’d like to invite first. Contact us if you have questions about how your suppliers would use it.
